The Icon Orthodontics clinic is staffed by an energetic and friendly group of orthodontic professionals. The team at Icon Orthodontics functions interdependently to ensure that the needs of our clients are met or exceeded at all times.

Our Office Manager has over twenty years experience in the Orthodontic profession. Our assistants are all Registered orthodontic Assistants with adjunctive training in the specialty of Orthodontics. Our staff are hired on their ability to form part of our cohesive team and on their outstanding personalities and work ethic.

Brenda:

Hello my name is Brenda! I joined the team at Icon Orthodontics in August 2008. I love the diversity of my job since I do both reception and treatment coordinating! When Im not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 daughters. If there is any time left over, I like to fit in a workout and travel whenever possible!

Nikki:

Hi my name is Nikki and I have been at Icon Orthodontics since August 2008. I originally started at the front desk and occasionally you will see me put on gloves and a mask to join my fellow Assistants helping Dr. Low chair side. For the next couple of years, you will find me behind the scenes as Icon Orthodontics new Imaging Technician.  I am a Registered orthodontic Assistant and also have a Diploma in Graphic Arts from Applied Multimedia and use my graphics training for marketing projects at Icon, such as the quarterly Icon Newsletter. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my new husband and travelling when we can! I love working at Icon Orthodontics and the best thing is being part of such a great team. Congratulations to Nikki and her husband, Jonah, expecting their first child in February 2012! Nikki will be starting her maternity leave at the end of January. We wish them all the best!

Janelle:

Hi my name is Janelle and I have known the Low family since 2005. I started working part time at Icon Orthodontics in July 2 008. Five months later, my life took me back to my home town in Manitoba. I recently moved back to Calgary and rejoined the Icon team fulltime in August 2010. You will find me at the front desk and working on marketing projects for the office. I have a Diploma in Makeup Artistry and Design and I am currently working towards my accounting Diploma. Away front the office, I enjoy running, yoga, baking, cooking and I love spending time with my husband and our beagle, Olivia!

Andrea:

Hi my name is Andrea! I graduated from the orthodontic Assisting program in 2006 and found my way straight to Orthodontics. I started at Icon Orthodontics in April 2007 as an Orthodontic Assistant. I like the independence that orthodontic assisting gives me and the variety of being a treatment corridinator as well. In 2010, my husband and I welcomed our baby boy. When I am not at the office I love to play with our son and chocolate lab. I also enjoy running and snowboarding.

Jazmine:

Hi Im Jazmine. I graduated from KDM orthodontic College in February, 2005. I worked in general dentistry for 2 years and then joined Icon Orthodontics in March ,2007. I think Icon is a great place to work, with awesome co-workers. I like my position as clinic corridinator and enjoy working with our patients. In my spare time I love to travel with my husband and to hang out with friends. Some of my hobbies are dancing and skiing.

Naomi:

Hi, my name is Naomi and I've been working at Icon Orthodontics since August, 2009. I  grew up in B.C and in 2003 I moved to Calgary to take dental assisting at SAIT.  I worked in general dentistry for 5 years before completing my orthodontic module through Columbia College. I love the great staff  at Icon Orthodontics and the positive atmosphere here. It is a fun place to work. Away from work, I enjoy snowboarding and love to travel with my husband Devin.

Marlee:

Hi, my name is Marlee. I am originally from Claresholm, Alberta. I graduated from the Orthodontic Assisting Program at Columbia College in September of 2009 and I then continued on to receive my orthodontic module certificate. I joined Icon Orthodontics in June of 2010. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, snowboarding and hanging out at the lake during the summer. I am very happy to be a part of such a great team here at Icon Orthodontics!

Melanie:

Hi I'm Melanie! I am one of the newest additions to the Icon Orthodontics team. This summer I joined the orthodontic assisting staff to help Dr. Low with patients chair side. I worked as a dental assistant in the Yukon for three years before going into Orthodontics. I chose the specialty of Orthodontics because I enjoy seeing the confidence and happiness in the beautiful smiles we create! I love being part of this wonderful team! In my spare time I enjoy travelling, running and yoga.

Jen:

My name is Jen.  My husband and I were blessed with a healthy, happy little boy in September 2009. I have been a orthodontic assistant for 11 years and have been with Icon for 4 years. I am very happy to be back at work with this wonderful team.

Congratulations to Jen and her husband, Jamie, expecting their second child in the new year! Jen will be starting her maternity leave at the end of 2011. We wish them all the best!

Craig:

Hello my name is Craig. I studied communications at NAIT and came to work for Dr. Low in 2002. After working for several years in the lab, I now work behind the scenes taking care of most of the technology in the office, such as 3D-imaging and digitizing. I enjoy computers, hockey, biking, and spending time with my new wife, Nesrin.

We wish Craig the best of luck during his absence to further his education in the Medical Radiology program at NAIT!

Jody:

Hi! My name is Jody and I am excited to be working at Icon Orthodontics. I was the sterilization coordinator at the office and am excited to take on a new position as the imaging technician for the next year. I moved back to Canada from Houston, Texas where I graduated from Dental Assisting at the Lonestar College. Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends. I also like to travel every chance I get!

Lori:

Hi! Im Lori. I joined the wonderful team at Icon Orthodontics in June, 2007. I work behind the scenes as the Lab Technician here at Icon. When Im not at work I am busy being a wife, a mom of four, and a grandmother of 2. My Me time is enjoyed at the arena figure skating and on a mat doing yoga!

Lucie:

Hi my name is Lucie! I have worked in the orthodontic field for over 20 years of which 10 years has been with Icon Orthodontics as Dr. Low’s Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator.  I am sometimes away from my desk, but I am always available to answer any questions you may have.  One of the best parts of my job is to see the awesome smiles that we create and the dynamic team that I work with!  When I am not at the office, I love to spend time with my husband, my 2 kids and my grandchildren.  I also enjoy travelling to HOT places!!

Norma:

Hello I'm Norma. I have been working with Dr. Low since 2001. I work behind the scenes preparing most of the correspondence. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and six grandchildren! I also enjoy reading, country line dancing, and singing in the Chinook Winds Show Chorus.

Shannon:

My name is Shannon and I have been working for Icon Orthodontics since its humble beginnings I am Dr. Lows wife! My responsibilities allow me a lot of flexibility to care for our three daughters and I usually work from home. I am involved behind the scenes completing marketing, financial, statistical and team building tasks. I work closely with Lucie, our Office Manager, who helps make our goals realities. I love the challenges of owning a business and appreciate the support of the community in making our office so successful. I am proud to be part of a company whose vision of excellence and community care is unmatched!
